We celebrated our SSVP Feast Day with our FINs at the church hall of Church of Risen Christ. Many of our volunteers and auxiliary members joined us for this event. Brs. Mark Leong, Mark Tan and Nick performed for the FINs with singing and the guitar. We enjoyed the food which came from a nearby restaurant. We also had a donation of shoes and soft toys which we distributed to the FINs.
SSVP members all over Singapore celebrated Feast Day with a mass at Church of St Stephen and dinner at Swatow Restaurant in Toa Payoh.
We did an outreach today with the altar servers. Reaching out to the poor is part of Vincentian work. As food was distributed to residents of a block in Toa Payoh, and we reached out to them if they needed any help, both physically and spiritually.

Congratulations to Bro. Peter Wong for being presented with a medal to recognise his 25 years of being a Vincentian!
We had our members day of recollection on.
[Session 1] The spirituality of suffering: If God is Love, why does God allow people to suffer?
[Session 2] How can we live out the Vincentian virtues and spirituality in the context of modern Singapore and in our lives?
We wrapped up the the day with Eucharistic Adoration followed by lunch.
Was a wonderful gathering with Lohei, and we wishing Sis. Aly all the best as she leaves for her studies in New Zealand! Aly has been a committed Vincentian for many years and we thank her for your contribution to the less priviledged.
This period of Lent, SSVP Risen Christ collaborated with SSVP Holy Spirit to organise a Share A Hope project for FINs. We collated the wishes from FINs, and put them up on a padlet for parishioners of both parishes to donate towards those wishes. Wishes ranged from items such as fridges and beds to prayers, and accompaniment. We then arranged for the wishes to be fulfilled.
We would like to thank all donors who have helped fulfill the wishes of our FINs this period of Lent!
